Paw-Scholars September Course

Service Description

Paw-Scholars is our fun, friendly five-week beginner course designed to give you and your dog the skills, confidence and understanding needed for everyday life. Whether you've welcomed a puppy, adopted an older dog or simply want to improve your dog's manners, this course will help you build a stronger partnership together. At Middlesbrough Dog Club we use modern, force-free, reward-based training methods backed by current canine learning science. There are no harsh corrections or outdated dominance techniques, just practical, enjoyable training that both you and your dog will look forward to. Throughout the course you'll learn real-life skills including attention and focus, loose lead walking, recall foundations, leave, drop, polite greetings, settling, impulse control and much more. Every exercise is broken down into easy-to-follow steps, helping both you and your dog succeed at a pace that suits you. Classes are limited to just six dogs, giving you plenty of individual coaching and support from our experienced volunteer trainers. You'll also receive weekly handouts, homework, exclusive training videos and access to your dedicated WhatsApp support group, so learning continues long after each class has finished. Your booking also includes 12 months' membership of Middlesbrough Dog Club, giving you access to member benefits including social walks, workshops and the opportunity to continue your training in our popular Paw-Masters classes. Before your practical classes begin, you'll attend a short online induction approximately two weeks beforehand. We'll introduce you to the course, explain how your dog learns and help you get the very best from your training.
